I used ChatControl for about 6 months, and it did what it needed to do for the most part (despite having very complicated config which just made me avoid any of the more advanced features).

That being said, the plugin is a bit of a mess. Changing devs, failed rewrites, the discord seems to have imploded and updates felt scattered.

Ultimately chose to change to a chat plugin with more stability and better support (this is another plugin that forces support into a closed ticket platform).

I have faith it will do what you need it to do, but in my opinion it’s not worth the chaos (at least not right now).
