This is a must-have plugin. With this plugin I have:

Setup a swear filter that catches common filter bypasses, doesn’t match words containing the swear as part of them, and can detect multi-word swears with spaces between them.

Setup an automatic help system that intelligently determines when players have questions about server features and sends them an automatic response with helpful information.

Setup an emoticon system to replace common ascii emoticons with better looking unicode emoticons. Players love this one.

Replaced my chat formatting plugins with a more robust json formatted chat, allowing players to hover over other players’ names/prefixes to get information about that player.
Integrated with Bungee for cross-server chat features.

And a ton more.

It also properly respects chat cancellation, so your messages don’t get sent to public chat and any chat channels (MCMMO party chat, for example) when you toggle into them. Players are also muted properly when using a punishment plugin to mute them, like LiteBans. A lot of chat formatting plugins that integrate with Bungee proxies don’t work in these cases, so ChatControl Pro is especially useful here. =D
